David has more than 30 years of experience in the urban and rail transport industry and has held several positions as project manager and director on signaling system renewal projects and programs with CBTC and ERTMS on large-scale projects across the globe.

 

David is a systems thinker with a passion for turning complexity into clarity. With three decades of experience in the rail and urban transport sector, he has led and advised on some of the most ambitious signalling modernisation projects around the world.

Advising clients including the MTA in New York and the Société des Grands Projets in Paris, David blends technical rigour with a collaborative approach. Sabrina Frangi is the heart of Nordic Signals’ day-to-day operations. With a keen eye for detail and a natural sense of order, she ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes - from finance and HR to compliance, contracts, and coordination.

Joanna operates at the sweet spot where complex systems meet real-world delivery. With hands-on experience in metro and rail programmes across Europe, she specialises in project management, system integration, and performance optimisation.

Her career has taken her from CBTC and ERTMS deployments to rolling stock integration and metro extensions - including her recent project management on supplier-side of the Copenhagen Metro M4 extension. Across each project, she is known for creating structure, fostering collaboration, and keeping a steady eye on timelines, interfaces, and outcomes. 

 

Joanna brings not just experience but perspective - always aligning the technical, contractual, and human elements of a project, serving her commitment to making complex infrastructure work better for people.​

Denis is a railway signalling specialist and project manager with close to 10 years of experience supporting complex ERTMS and CBTC programmes across Europe. He works at the intersection of system engineering and project delivery, helping translate technical requirements into practical implementation on large-scale signalling programmes.

​

His experience includes key roles in major signalling modernisation initiatives. On the Danish national ERTMS programme, Denis supported the rollout of ETCS onboard systems across a large train fleet and later contributed to the design authority function for ETCS Level 2 wayside systems, coordinating interfaces between signalling suppliers, infrastructure works, and operational stakeholders.

At Nordic Signals, Denis supports clients as an external expert across signalling programmes, contributing to technical assurance, programme delivery support, and the development of supplier system integration strategies.

Delphine Poiré brings energy and structure to every project she touches. A skilled communicator and connector, she has delivered results in settings as diverse as UN organisations, European universities, and infrastructure programmes in Scandinavia and France.

At Nordic Signals, Delphine is supporting our work on in Denmark and France and plays a key role across our internal operations and external projects. Whether leading stakeholder dialogues or supporting complex delivery teams, she combines insight, empathy, and a hands-on approach.

With a background in EU affairs, digital transformation, and learning and development, Delphine is passionate about creating impact through collaboration. Her ability to make things happen - and make them stick - makes her a cornerstone of our team.

Janus is a senior business transformation advisor with more than 25 years of experience in the metro and railway sectors. He specialises in digital transformation, operational readiness, signalling (CBTC/ERTMS), and complex brownfield programmes, with a strong focus on bridging technical programmes with the organisational structures needed to deliver them.

 

He has played key roles in Denmark’s largest rail initiatives, including the national Signalling Programme, the Future S-bane, and the Copenhagen Metro. Renowned for his ability to align suppliers, management, and end-users, Janus ensures organisations are prepared for change and equipped to realise long-term benefits.

 

As an associate, Janus is part of our Copenhagen team bringing his proven expertise in organisational readiness, programme integration, and transformation leadership.

Ishak is a senior electrical engineer with more than twenty-five years of experience in railway systems design, installation, and commissioning. His expertise spans both vital and non-vital on-board systems, including TCMS, ATC, PTC, public address, CCTV, and intercom systems.

 

Over the course of his career, he has supported major U.S. transit agencies such as NYCT and New Jersey Transit, while also working on the supplier side as Systems and Vehicle Systems Engineer for leading North American manufacturers.

 

At Nordic Signals, Ishak is part of our New York team, strengthening our carborne and rolling stock capabilities. By bridging operator and supplier perspectives, he brings invaluable insight to complex integration challenges, helping programmes deliver safe, reliable, and future-ready solutions.

Jana is a highly versatile Signalling and Systems Engineer with more than fourteen years of international rail industry experience, covering all stages of the systems engineering “V” lifecycle.

 

His expertise spans control and information systems, validation and verification, system design, and testing and commissioning. He has served as Principal CBTC Systems Engineer for Transport for London’s Four Lines Modernisation project, Technical Expert to the MTA in New York, and Subject Matter Expert for signalling on Rio Tinto’s Simandou mining railway, among other major programmes.

 

As an associate, Jana collaborates with our Professional Services team in New York, contributing his deep technical knowledge, hands-on engineering experience, and proven ability to align suppliers, operators, and clients on some of the most demanding rail signalling projects worldwide.

Alain-Christophe is an experienced electrical engineer with more than a decade and a half of specialised expertise as a RAMS and System Safety Engineer. Spanning Europe and North America, he has built robust proficiency in safety engineering, CBTC, PTC, and complex system integration across multiple industries including rail, aviation, automobile and energy.

 

He has worked as Senior RAMS and Systems Safety Consultant on projects for several major suppliers. His track record includes safety engineering and subsystems integration for CBTC upgrades in Philadelphia and New York, and RAM and safety management on the MTA’s large-scale CBTC modernisation programme.

 

Based in New York, Alain-Christophe is part of Nordic Signals’ Professional Services team supporting the MTA’s CBTC programme as Safety Manager. He brings deep systems safety knowledge, cross-industry rigour, and a proven ability to deliver compliant, reliable, and safe solutions in some of the most demanding transit environments.

Arthur supports our technical team across projects and internal initiatives, contributing to data analysis, visualisation, and the preparation of white papers.

 

Taking his Master's degree in quantum science, he brings strong analytical skills and a structured approach to data collection, documentation, and interpretation - helping translate complex information into clear, actionable insights for our clients.
